Set in the heart of the stunning Côtes-d'Armor countryside, Le Manoir du Bourg has been the predominant manor house of the quaint village of St Helen for over five hundred years. Capturing your heart from the moment you arrive at the gates, you will immediately feel immersed by authentic Breton life surrounded by tranquillity, nature and undeniable history. Featuring the main manor house and two exquisite gites, each property has been beautifully renovated to include today's modern luxuries, but still conserving its original chic French charm.
Le Manoir du Bourg is the perfect destination for large group bookings wishing to hire the entire complex. Alternatively, each of the gites can be hired individually for smaller groups as each property is fully self-contained, along with their own outdoor dining space.
One of Le Manoir du Bourg’s key features is the spectacular enclosed swimming pool area boasting the truly magnificent backdrop of the Église Saint-Hélen church. Around the pool area is a large modern sun terrace complete with a brand new 6 places hot tub / SPA and a stunning covered gazebo, ideal for al fresco dining. There is a delightful wildflower garden that surrounds the pool that attracts bees and butterflies where you can lounge and unwind feeling immersed by nature. By night the whole area is illuminated that created a wonderful and magical ambience for entertaining under the stars. You can also enjoy the cosy warmth of the firepit or testing the famous game of palets bretons!

At Le Manoir du Bourg we are also blessed with having some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Brittany on our doorstep. So why not let us help you organise a picnic before heading off to one of our stretches of golden sands! Our favourites include Saint-Jacut-de-la Mur, Erquy, Saint Brieuc and Sables-d’Or’les-Pins – all crowd and bustle free! Not forgetting of course our local beach Mordreuc, where you can say hello to our resident seal Joséphine. Don’t worry, she’s very friendly!
For those wishing to do some sport, within a few paces of the property is a public tennis court and fishing lake whilst close by are excellent golf courses, horse riding, sailing, karting and sand yacht activities …there really is something for everyone. Within 15 minutes to 1 hour, you’ll find many wonderful places to visit and fill your days…miles of spectacular coastline, castles, picturesque villages, buzzing markets and local festivals. Whatever your interests, there’s plenty to see around our lovely home…
Come and explore or just relax at the property or the pool. We have garden games, to keep the kids busy and they will love the heated swimming pool. We have a tennis court, swimming, pool table, darts and table tennis.
Either way, you will have a lot to do, or as little. The choice is yours and we are here to help and advise your whole trip when you need us.
